Volunteers Needed for Souper Contact:
Souper Contact is a free hot meal program founded and run by Rhodes students. It operates every Tuesday night from 4 to 6 pm at St. John′s United Methodist Church located at 1207 Peabody Avenue (the corner of Peabody and Bellevue). During winter break Souper Contacts loses most of its student volunteers and relies on Rhodes community members to keep it running. Volunteers are needed to bring food, set tables, assist with food preparation, serve, clean up, and most importantly, visit with guests. I invite you and your families to join us for the following dinner services: December 16, December 23, December 30, January 6 and January 13.If you are available to volunteer, please contact Tiffany Merritt, Community Service Coordinator, and let her know you are coming.
